Team System Email Notifications
On our current Microsoft projects, we have to manually send out emails when we perform builds or check in changes. How tedious!
In Team System, you can configure project alerts to send these kind of emails automatically via the Team, Project Alerts menu...

There are four email notification options available in a default install of Team System:
- Alert when my work items are changed by others
- Alert when anything is checked in
- Alert when the build status changes
- Alert when a build completes

Usually you'd send these notifications to a group alias like project.developers@company.com, but I sent them to myself for testing purposes. Here are a few (very) basic examples of what these emails look like in your inbox.
A build completes:

Anything is checked in:

My work items are changed by others:

I couldn't figure out how to trigger the "build status changes" email yet. I tried failing the build, but no email..
Note that the hyperlinks in these emails link back to the project SharePoint site that Team System set up for us, eg, http://teamsystem:8080/WorkItemTracking/Workitem.aspx?artifactMoniker=79.
