Winamp freezing
I switch around with music players and decided to try winamp again after upgrading to Vista. I have had intermittent problems with winamp in the past where it would stop responding for 10 seconds or so. It turns out to be an issue with winamp and CA eTrust. To fix this, you can add the winamp process to the
Exclude Processes
list and installation folder to the
Exclude Directories
list in eTrust. More information

.
I find most skins interesting but not useful, I like this

re: Winamp freezing
I have always used the "Lite" version of Winamp and always chose the smallest download size. Well just recently I decided to download the Full version (still free) and it actually was awesome. It sorts all of your music by album and artist and all of that right inside Winamp its really sweet. When you're installing it has an option "Classic" or "Modern" Modern has all of the new sweet features and looks really cool too. Also its fast and doesn't crash so anyways... check it out if you want.
